I wouldn't be surprised to see him walk after his rookie contract.
People also need to realize that the teams that have consistently won (Patriots, Steelers) have let their really high-priced guys walk with plans to replace with cheaper options or draft picks. Sometimes this has to happen to keep the overall team competitive.
I also wouldn't be surprised to see Reader leave after his contract is up either.
I just don't think they'd pay top dollar for a 30+ year old NT.
Idk about Tee being a #1 on “any team” (he wouldn’t be on the Vikes for example), but he would be on a lot of teams. Like - probably 20+. And by the time he potentially becomes a UFA in a couple years guys like Adams and Kupp will be on the wrong side of 30.
As for Reader, yeah - he’s probably gone after his current deal is up. At least if he’s still playing at a high level, and looking for another big payday. The Bengals typically don’t hand out large 3rd contracts.
