It's really not that uncommon for an interior Olineman. Of the final 4 teams last year:

Rams: David Edwards was drafted in the 5th Rd and started as a rookie

Chiefs: Trey Smith was drafted in the 6th Rd and started as a rookie

Bengals: Quinton Spain was an UDFA and started as a rookie.
