I had a 120" projector in my previous house in my basement, it was also high def. but the picture on my my 8K now is surreal, like you are that game and on the field. It also has Bluetooth and all the bells and whistles to connect easily to Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV+ through voice command.

Not many things are broadcast in 4k right now (and by not many I mean like close to nothing) and nothing is broadcast in 8k - so that's pretty irrelevant when it comes to watching a 1 pm football game on CBS or even most primetime games. Of course this is different for streaming things like Netflix and Disney + which are in 4K. 

If you are trying to upgrade your TV viewing experience then going from LED screen to OLED screen is the single most important thing. The difference between screen/picture quality is ridiculous.
