What is the standard for this upcoming season?

This year, I'd be completely happy with even a hard fought, well earned wild card birth and then getting into the playoffs and perhaps knocking someone off. I don't want to expect or accept decline, but the success we had last season just has so many uncontrollable variables, that its not something I'm going into the season expecting. I certainly think we CAN, but I'm not going to judge this season on if we can match or exceed last season's success. We've got an elite core for years to come, and I have no doubt that the dominance will be on display at some point in the next couple of years.

It's easy to forget that that's all we were doing last year... Playing meaningful games in December. If we lose that Chiefs games (as most expected we would), and continue our losing streak to the Browns, the Bengals were watching the playoffs at home.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.
