Over the years I have heard this comment many times about how a coach has to play a play a high draft pick to protect his credibility. But coaches lose even MORE credibility when they play a guy who stinks with better options on the bench.
An interesting question to pose...
How long do we wait for Bengals OL drafted under Pollack to pan out before we call him a success or failure at developing talent?
Do Volson's and/or Carman's performance this year make people want to decide to keep him or not?
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
