I think it's a talent evaluation issue, honestly. OL is extremely tough to hit on anymore in the first place and the team consistently values upside and physical traits over technique, intelligence, and work ethic. Carman was a high upside guy. So were Jordan, Ogbuehi, Smith, etc.
