What constitutes "football people"? Mike Brown is a football people. He simply lacks the imagination to move the team forward. It has nothing to do with his football knowledge.
The GM of the Vikings, for example, was a commodities trader 10 years ago. These women have spent their entire lives in football. They may not have played but plenty of GMs and team Presidents have never played football.
