I'd lean toward if the team already had 6+ losses by the Bye week (3-6 or worse), or double-digit losses by season's end.

They just extended him @ $8 million a year. If they fire him, they have to pay him in full.

The only scenario he leaves under is if Nebraska offers him a huge deal. They won't though.
