You understand correctly. If we don't check out of a play that's called before the sidelines see the alignment, it's on the QB to audible out of unfavorable matchups. Joe is shaking off some rust, and he gets better each week. He missed some throws, but overall, I've liked what I've seen vs the first two weeks from him. He's learning to be more patient vs all of the explosive plays last year.
