I actually went to some self help classes in an effort to control my temper. 95% of the time, I'm a very happy, optimistic, nice guy that likes to have fun and joke around, but when I'm in a bad mood, I'm a complete jerk in every way. It's like polar extremes. You may even notice it with my posting occasionally.
After talking to a professional about it, I think I manage it much better. If anyone else out there has a similar problem, I highly recommend seeking council. It's worked very well for me.
