Sports betting is finally becoming legal in Cincinnati on January 1st and, ironically, Pete Rose is placing the first bet!

Once sports betting becomes legal in Ohio at 12:01 a.m. on New Year’s Day, Charlie Hustle will make his bet, Hard Rock Casino announced Tuesday.

Rose famously accepted a lifetime ban from baseball in August 1989 for betting on the sport.

So, it’s only fitting to have the Reds great make the ceremonial first bet at the Hard Rock Sportsbook.

He never should have been banned from baseball, so this has to piss off the MLB!

Along with the indoor practice facility, I think this is another part of the Burrow effect on the franchise and the city because people will place tons of bets on the Bengals/Burrow's seasons and each game!

When we give him and offensive line, Burrow and Chase will win multiple championships!

I love it because now I won't have to get a ride to Indiana to place bets for the season! It will also make for a good place to watch some games when the Bengals aren't on and bet on them!
