But who is to say we get a first down and keep the clock running on 3rd and 6. As has been noted, each play in a game changes everything.

I give Zac praise for not just going for it, but not dumping it off to get a closer FG attempt but the clock running.

This is not the first time Zac and Joe have run out the clock.

Believe most everybody felt the same way and it was after a time out so surely this was discussed. 

Think he was worried about cocking his arm and getting the ball knocked loose per hearing footsteps closing quickly from behind.

Hope so anyway yet either way it worked as you already pointed out.
