Covered Lanai with Fans with a pool and hot tub with the entire area screened in to keep the bugs out
Good old fashioned air conditioning
My wife and I moved down to Naples in April of 2021 close to Marco Island and love the area. We have since moved within 10 miles of the airport in Estero, Fl. which is close to Fort Myers.
We retired this year and go back home and stay with family for the holidays. I hate snow, everything about it but hate ice even more. It is no hotter in Florida in July or August than in Cincinnati. Both places are very hot.
I've spent plenty of time in Hilton Head in July and August. Pretty similar I would imagine, and I don't mind it. Just think of a cold, bare January day and it's not so bad.
You can go to live in France, but you cannot become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey or Japan, but you cannot become a German, a Turk, or a Japanese. But anyone, from any corner of the Earth, can come to live in America and become an American
