It is not a knock on Carman, some can do it like Whitt, some can't. I am just thrilled he played great yesterday, hopefully a confidence builder for him. Our RT and RG also played very well yesterday as did our center on a bad knee.

Volson was originally a G that converted to T late in his college career iirc, but folks can feel free to correct me on that. Really, his body type is more suited to G, where Carman is more of a natural T due to his height and length.
Carman also graded significantly higher as a rookie than Volson did this year(56.3 to 51.6). Volson has had a lot of struggles this year, but started showing improvement down the stretch as he got more and more in game reps.
