I voted why did I bother with this thread!
But, if McCarron plays well and wins a playoff game I believe you have to stick with him while getting Dalton ready to come in if needed. This would make the most sense. If I were the coaches, Dalton would have to show me that he could take snaps, grip the ball well and throw with that hand before I'd even consider inserting him into a game.
