IF Collins is not ready to begin the season then I would have to think that the Bengals will be taking a hard look at both Carman and Adeniji to take the RT position. I personally feel that if Carman was comfortable playing the right side that he could be a franchise RT.
For that matter with the way Carman looked at LT in the playoffs maybe they look at making him the LT and moving Jonah to RT.
I know you aren't necessarily advocating for Adeniji to stay and probably just mentioned him because he's technically still on the roster, but I really hope he is not on the roster come the start of the season.
The dude has been in the league now and has allowed a ridiculous number of sacks over his 3-year career.
2020: 150 pass block snaps - 4 sacks, 12 total pressures
2021: 501 pass block snaps - 9 sacks, 37 total pressures
2022: 259 pass block snaps - 4 sacks, 23 total pressures
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Total PB snaps = 910
Total sacks = 17
Total pressures = 72
That's entirely too much pressure allowed in that number of snaps.
The dude is 25 years old and has been in the league 3 full years now.
The likelihood of a big jump in ability is miniscule at this point.
He likely is who he is at this point and should not be on the team.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!
