This is more likely the truth. That other one is fake news, but if the Eagles don't match we could grab up Gardner-Johnson and that
would make all of my cautiousness about this FA go away. Him or Thornhill and we are fine, I think Dax can be better than Bell or
Bates so I am not concerned there except for some struggles early this season. Not like Bell and Bates weren't struggling at times
last year and they were solid veterans. Bell might of been falling off and Bates played soft like half the year.
True these guys were one of the best Safety duos the last few years when Bates was playing hard but Bell is a little older and didn't
play as well last year and Bates is still not a great tackler. Smarts and range are the questions at Safety now as that was Bell and
Bates best attributes.
