Well I checked virtually every mock at Mock Draft Database and I found 4 that had Gibbs going in the first round and only 1 of those had him going in the draft before that Bengals and they had him going to Dallas at #26. The others that had him included in the first were #29 or #30. What the vast majority of these drafts did have was Kancey going in the first round.
Gibbs is not the only back in the draft that brings the possibility of these types of plays and I have already pointed out that Spears brings these same abilities as well as being valuable in picking up the blitz. So you apparently do not find that skill as an important portion of a RB profile?
