The Big East is probably the 4th best conference behind the Big 12 (by a pretty sizeable margin), Big 10 and SEC. Hell, the Pac 12 doesn't have the numbers but they do have 2 legit NC contenders. The Big East has zero.

This didn't age well Faulk. UConn is well on the way to winning the tournament. Add in the Creighton was a ref away from being in the final four, and the Big East certainly looks like a top 2 conference, certainly better than the Big 10 and SEC. Would say the Big 12 is still the top conference for basketball.
