I'm not saying Jones is EXACTLY the same as Faalele.
But the same things that are being pegged against Jones were the same as Faalele.
Faalele was less experienced in American football, as he came from Australia, so yes he wasn't nearly as refined as Dawand Jones is.
Faalele absolutely bombed the athletic drills at the Combine last year. While Dawand Jones may be more athletic than him, he still avoided doing those agility drills for a reason.
The size and length will help compensate for a lack of mobility, but will he still be agile enough to not get beat to guys that rush around him?
Only time will tell.
However, I do want to correct your 9" wingspan comment.
Dawand Jones - 87.875" wingspan
Daniel Faalele - 86.25" wingspan
So it's less than 2 inch difference
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
