True...kind of.
Bengals might be able to get a decent starter in Rd 3 or later, but they could get a bona fide stud if they get one in Rd 1.
If the goal is just to get someone who can be solid, sure may as well wait. It's a deep draft for just solid TEs.
Not sure there are a whole bunch of long-term above average starters in the class though.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
