I think the back of this defense is in better shape than many are considering it.

Likely because he was a 5th rounder and we haven't seen him play really at all.
He also wasn't a guy that got many turnovers in college (2 INTs in 5 seasons, both in his first 2 seasons), and he played in the MAC.
I think he's a perfect backup SS who might develop into a starter in 2-3 years.
