Positional value/Draft approach

This isnt a Bengals thing, it is an NFL thing.   Look at the contracts per position and especially, the 5th year salaries per postion.

That 5th year is one big reason for "value", in the 1st Rd.  TE/RB provides hardly any savings in that 5th year vs QB, DE, OT, CB, WR, DT.  Travis Kelce will make 11M this season....
