After a night of sleeping on it, and reading all the comments on the board…
I like the draft bc they went bpa. Everyone thinks we had this mastermind strategy going in. We didn’t. It was bpa and positional value. This wasn’t drafting for the future, drafting for depth. It was bpa. If the board fell differently, and BPA was RB, OT, CB it wouldn’t be bc we wanted those positions. It’s bpa. We can create our own stories after the picks, but I don’t think we had an agenda to draft for the future. We went bpa. I’m on board with that.
The one thing I can say, they clearly don’t value TE as a premium position. Not bc they think they’re loaded at TE. It’s just not a need when you have Burrow and 3 stud wr. This was the deepest te class ever, and we didn’t get one. I can live with that when we have chase and Higgins who should each be target 15 times a game.
