You're preaching to the choir on that point, brother.  I threw a 6 year old's style tantrum when they allowed both Bates and Bell to walk.  Other fans told me to just wait and see what they do about it.  Reminded me that we took Dax in the 1st and Tyson in the 5th last year.  The team went on to sign Scott, and now draft Battle.  Seems to me that Safety still is the priority position in Lou's defense, just needed to get younger and cheaper to accommodate nearing offensive expenditures.

I'm sure that the secondary will have some growing pains early in the season, but under Anarumo I feel like they'll look like they've been there before come the back half of the season.
