I wouldn't say money's not an issue ... he's now in the largest media market on the planet. Winning leverages the value of that more than the nominal value of what he's giving up. At least that's the calculation I suspect is being made. Aaron Rodgers in the New York market makes serious endorsement bank... winning Aaron Rodgers in the same market makes multiples of that.
