He cant run the ball consistently if he is consistently getting hit in the backfield before he can make it to the line of scrimmage. When the O-line plays well, Mixon does good. When the O-line plays bad, Mixon does bad. Im not a big believer in spending big bucks for RBs. If you have a good offensive line that can open up lanes, any decent RB will gain yards. If you have a bad offensive line that cant open up holes, your RB will hardly matter
Exactly and guess what? The organization could have easily moved on or even drafted a running back earlier or after Perine they had his allotted amount and could have scrounged up the 4 million that Ezekiel Elliott got. He’d damn sure jumped to come here. I know for a fact their goal was always to keep him with a reduced salary . And that’s what happened.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.
