I don't think they are committed to giving the ball to Chase out of the backfield like they are Deebo. It feels like they just give it to him here and there to keep the defense honest, but the playcalls that have him back there usually is meant to open something else up.
It has to be believable that the playcall is meant for him, so they give it to him here and there just for the sake of making sure they defense thinks it's possible.
