Palmer, who some fans have called "soft" just sat out one game after suffering the injury in a game against the Giants where he was sacked 6 times. He came back and threw 39 passes against the Cowboys in week 5 before shutting it down for surgery.
So Fitzpatricks overall record was 4-7-1, but 4-6-1 after Palmer went on IR.
