But in general Eifert is more of a worry of getting hurt than other players on the team IMO, in any game, based on his history of missing games.
I think Eifert is more prone to injury because of the position he plays. Just look at other TE's across the league:
Rob Gronkowski: missed 16 games (not including playoffs) over last 4 seasons with various injuries
Antonio Gates: has missed 11 games in last 6 seasons, not counting suspension
Dennis Pitta: has missed 45 games across 6 seasons
Jordan Reed: missed 13 games in 3 seasons
Travis Kelce: missed almost his entire rookie season due to injury
Owen Daniels: has missed 28 games in 10 seasons
Kyle Rudolph: has missed 17 games in his career
Jordan Cameron: has missed 17 games in his career
Dwayne Allen: has missed 20 games in only 4 seasons
Austin Sefarian-Jenkins: missed 16 games across 2 seasons
Marcades Lewis: missed 13 games in previous 2 seasons
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
