In some ways the 90s were easier to deal with simply because we expected them to tank from start to finish. Even the Palmer years were almost easier to deal with simply because they missed the playoffs to many times, but this team is maddening because they're loaded with talent and still can't get it done after January and then the thumb..With Palmer it was the knee..
I like McCarron. I really do, but I just don't have the confidence in him that Andy this season was exhibiting. It feels like a curse. Someone stuck a pin in a Paul Brown doll and stuck two in Mike Brown.
All that said I'd still rather be a Bengals fan than a fan of any other team INCLUDING the Pattycakes..For some reason there's just something comfoting about the prefix 'long suffering' that can't be matched by any other fan base..
