I always felt like Hawk was a victim of where he was drafted, similar to Dan Wilkinson and Justin Smith. Pack fans were expecting some 10 sack per year dominating force, and that just wasn't him. Solid player though, and I've heard some Packers fans who felt the same way. He QB'd their defense and was good for 100+ tackles and some plays every year.
I never thought Hawk would come here and be an all-pro, but I do think he could be better than Maualuga at MLB for us, but obviously Rey M is firmly entrenched in that role.
