They had had good players, but I think he also put them in their best positions to succeed.
Marvin wasn’t a horrible head coach. I can remember the decade before he arrived.
Marvin made a world of difference with the Bengals. And he did a lot of work moving Mike Brown forward, something he doesn’t get a lot of credit for. He laid a foundation that has allowed Zac to continue forward momentum.
Marvin did the heavy lifting that got this team competitive again. Was he able to get them all the way…no but to say he was horrible is doing him a great disservice
