The other big thing he brings is that he's a big threat on seam routes, which we haven't had since CJ. Having him to keep S's honest will open up more explosive plays downfield.
Could happen, as i stated he has underperformed relative to his draft and he was a lower ranked starting TE past two years, Hudson who played over 60% less time at the position had overall similar stats as Fant and for those that believe in PFF as a strong measure, Hudson finished higher than him. So unless the asking price is a good one I don;t think we should invest to much in him since I see Hudson competing for the starting job anyway.
