Cade Stover - TE - The Ohio State - 6'4" 251
The nickname Stover ended up with at Ohio State, Farmer Gronk, could not be more fitting. Stover brings elite toughness and effort to the position. While he does not possess elite size, speed, or quickness he offsets much of that with just pure heart and determination. As a blocker he not only understands how to block but employs outstanding technique to go with his strength and natural ability. Stover has really shined for the Buckeyes in clutch situations. While he does not possess outstanding speed or quickness, Stover does understand how to use what he does have to bait defenders and to exploit the seams of a defense.
As with McKinnley Jackson the Bengals add another player that brings elite maturity, locker room presence, and leadership to the team.
