Higgins is the 8th Bengal to be tagged in the last two decades.
Bengals have not extended a tagged player in that time span other than Mike Nugent over a decade ago.
So my gut feel is whether Higgins is traded or not, Bengals will prepare for a new WR to take his spot by 2025.
As such, I think WR is definitely on the table early in this year's draft, possibly even 1st round based on who is available at 18.

Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
