I just saw this earlier. By the estimation you could get them both for 11.8 mil per year. Speculating on recent RB markets I thought maybe it could be less. But I'm intrigued by Pollard and I assume other teams will be so he's number could fluctuate even if it's just teams willing to guarantee more money it probably isn't realistic. I honestly think we have more pressing needs. I also think we need to reevaluate our run game from all points. So while I still think Mixon stays and can be a viable part of an improved run game this next year. Pollard, Brown and a short yardage back could be very interesting.
That is a little more than 10 mil, but I would take Tony Pollard for 8 mil a year over Mixon easily. Pollard has always impressed me.
Then get a pounder like Braelon Allen, Trey Benson or Jonathan Brooks in the Draft and we are way better at RB IMO.
