Now let me think about the best players on the defense the least 2 years. Hendrickson, Bates, Hilton, Reader, BJ Hill.... Im sensing a pattern here

The drafting IS terrible. Dont try to deny the data and facts

The facts are the bengals use the draft to fill for future needs, instead of instant needs. Case in point, Dax Hill hardly played his rookie year, so he didn’t have any impact in 2022. That’s going to lead to a low score. Same for 2023- Murphy, jones, Andre, brown. If the bengals actually drafted players that they intend to play, this could look different. It’s hard when a player is going into year 3 and you’re still not sure what you have in him.
