Rankins doesn't play Readers position. Rankins is a 3T, not a nose tackle. Why do you think the Bengals are currently trying to sign Tart (a nose tackle)? 

Rankins and Reader play different positions, this has been talked about a length. The DL is a rotational unit. You need more than BJ Hill and Rankins. You need another quality player that is going to share in the rotation with those guys.
