What I loved- They drafted upside over good! Championship teams are all top heavy; stars win Chips.
Meh- McKinnley Jackson in the third rd at 97. I'll think he would have been in the 5th or 6th Rds but 97 was a bit early. Although I like him as a prospect and if he ends up being a good player then who cares.
What I didn't like- I am worried that the Trey situation will get ugly, Tee has a ton of value in the trade market, and I'm not sure the Bengals have any idea on how they are going to use Dax Hill this season! So why Not trade them for picks in this draft and maximize the value of the draft itself?
Point 2- I would have liked to see them get a premiere pass rusher this draft.
Overall- I think this team is better than what they were prior to this weekend and that's all you can ask for. Mims, Hill, and Burton look like high level prospects to me!
Last year I thought Pitt & Ravens improved themselves more than we did in FA & the draft. This year I’m not as impressed with the Ravens but Pitt did get better at QB. But we are better in the trenches. That was needed. But I’m excited for our receivers. I also think Mims in the screen game legendary and pulling is going to be ridiculous
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.
