Or maybe trade Ashcraft.
Reds have Phillips ready to come back up, and he could take Ashcraft's spot.

As much as I'd not like it, the two best hitters the Reds have trade-wise are EDLC and Steer.
Fans would be pissed, but those two would probably yield the best return.

There's little to no trade value in guys like Candelario, India, and Benson. And quite honestly I'm not sure a fire sale and rebuild is what's needed? 

We're missing Friedl, McClain, Marte, and CES. It's just to early in their careers to throw in the towel. Elly is balling, Steer will recover (hopefully) 

What's need is new ownership and management. Somebody who doesn't live in the laptop stats and knows how to manage, Somebody who won't bench Fraley and bat a guy hitting .150 3rd.

But this season is already toast barring a miracle.
