As certain I am we miss the playoffs, having one of these young call ups take a spot and keep it would go a looooooong way towards roster construction moving forward. It seems like every year, we wonder who's playing the corner OF spots or if they'll add a platoon guy to what we already have. Like the Bengals and TE's pre-2024 Draft.

I'm so hoping Friedl, McClain, CES, and Marte can all get back and get it going and/or some other rookie steps up so we can say bye-bye Benson. The guy just doesn't appear to be able to hit ML pitching with any consistency. 

He has 244 at bats and 111 strike outs!!! batting .189
