Any advice or tips so that I can end the season with family bragging rights?

100% this.
You'll see a few TEs and QBs go within the first 3-4 rounds, but good WRs and especially RBs can be hard to come by after Rd 4-5.
It can also help to target a player currently injured but might only be out the first few games. Those players tend to go later in the draft but will be a heavy contributor once back. And since bye weeks don't start until October, you should be able to have some depth to cover the first few weeks until said player is back healthy.
I tend to target RB/WR the first 4-5 rounds, then I'll get a QB and TE within rds 5-7, then I'll fill out the rest of the depth with RB/WR/TE/QB. Save DEF and K for the last few rounds after you have your depth built out.
It's not a bad strategy to play the matchups with DEF and/or K during the season too. I mainly do that with DEF. I probably pick up at least 5 DEFs throughout the season lol.
Last, pay attention to bye weeks.
I like to target as late of a bye week as I can. That way, hopefully I'm locked into the playoffs by the time most of my byes are hitting ideally.
You can also try to target as early of a bye week as possible to get them out of the way, but you might get some early losses with that approach.
Another option is trying to stack players that have the same 1-2 bye weeks so you're only potentially gimping yourself a couple weeks.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
