Lol yeah, sure he can. Back issues don't just "go away" with a little rest and stretching, it's even worse when you're huge and out of shape like Brown is. Weather Mims heals up in time for week one is not the point. The point was that he wasn't supposed to be thrown in as a day 1 starter, and now that he's injured, attempting to play while that pec is still healing may cause it to linger and hamper him later this year.
Face the reality, the Bengals need another "serviceable" RT, if not one capable of playing a short to medium stretch of games. Once again, the Bengals inability to successfully draft and develop at the OL position comes back to bite them, as there is essentially nothing on the bench.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations
