Why would I need a source?  He's the owner and president of the Bengals.  Of course he has a say unless he medically cannot speak for himself.

And yes, I own a family business for 20 years with my father,.  So I guess I know a little bit about what Katie (who may or may not have ownership) might be going through. 


His age isn't a reason to dismiss him.  He still seems very sharp.  For better or worse. 

Are you serious? Age isn't a reason to dismiss him? Lack of energy. Changing of the game. Changes in the way the business of the NFL operates.

And how often have you heard him to make an evaluation like he seems very sharp, because he has never made many public appearances.
