I think what happened is they were spooked by the Ghost of Billy Price and avoided drafting Creed Humphrey. People forget but before Price tore is shoulder at the combine he was projected to be a top 15 pick.
I was just looking up what Prices RAS score was but he looks like he didn't test because of the shoulder probably. But I stumbled on an article about teams drafting of players and they're average RAS scores in different positions. It said in the article that Duke Tobin was given more control and became the defacto GM in 2016. It said we've drafted 10 OLineman since 2017 with an average RAS score of 5.5 out of 10. Only 2 scored more than 6.6. Now obviously that changed this year with Mims and Lee but still pretty head scratching and curious as to what they're approach is to drafting that particular position.
