Dalton also had the best ability. Durability. Availability.
There’s the meme going around of Burrow picture morphing into Dalton and it’s gaining steam. If you look closely it’s hard to really tell the difference. Everything people attacked Dalton for they give Burrow a pass.
Who needs everything perfect around them?
Who needs top receivers?
Who had happy feet?
….
Are we talking about Dalton or Burrow?
The are we talking about Dalton or Burrow game may be eye opening for some around here.

FINALLY someone is saying it. I quit posting because of it because I didn't want to upset the Burrow fan boys. I didn't want to become what they became (see: Dalton thread).
He even threw it out of bounds on 4th down once and today - almost lost a fumble while sliding head first ala San Diego.
I have been saying it at home to my wife for years now ("Dude's Dalton") and my buddy says he's the most overrated QB of all time and when the contract was signed went nuclear on me. I'm finding it hard to argue these days.
Dalton had his bad days but he also had great days that is what was maddening about him and Burrow is exactly the same.
I don't care about stats i watch the damn games with my eye balls - and the game is totally differen't now then it was in Dalton's prime. Back when you could actually hit the QB and put a little fear into him. That style of play seemed to officially die in Cincinnati by none other than Vontaze Burfict. And if it wasn't dead then it was further killed by Ryan Shazier a few years later again, in Cincinnati. All while the whole world watched.
And then Jesus Christ - a man died on our field, again during primetime a few years later.
BenJarvis Green-Ellis aside - NOBODY ever showed up for those playoff games or primetime games save the big win against Manning's Broncos. This was Marvin's biggest flaw he was a 1/4pm coach.
