It's not a freeze frame, play over situation. The receiver has to control it through the ground. Gesicki did not, so it wasn't a catch.
Here's my argument on these plays.
Jesse James: Was not touched when he lost the ball. Ball was not fully controlled. Gesicki caught the ball with 2 hands, brought it in to his body.
Hunter Henry: Has it, didn't pull it in.
Chiefs: Clearly the ball came out on the hit before he was down.
Texans: I would say the ball was out of bounds when he landed. Very close.
I'm unable to listen to the videos because I'm at work, so my reply may seem silly. But all were pretty close.
