Yes, he did look much better actually....but he still looked off. I think he looked better because he had more time this off-season putting in work. He was dreadful against Pitt too. 

You may be right about the plan there, hadn't thought of it, and it's an interesting theory. Joe's numbers in September are bad for his career, for whatever that's worth.
