But in over 50 years of rooting for the Bengals, I've never been able to be happy with a loss. The best that I can do is engage myself in something else productive while watching the game. But I was so invested in this game and it truly hurt to lose again.
And I could see Joe Burrow was very upset. when the PI was called, he showed the most emotion that I have seen from him. But at least he walks away with millions after the game. And probably a supermodel. I'm left with the pain and wishing I'd rather not invested the three hours just to get a gut punch at the end.
The close ones sometimes hurt more. The mistakes are more magnified.
I am a bit surprised the final score was that close.
